Handling of Complaints
Complaints will be reviewed by the appropriate editorial or designated journal authority. Where necessary, the journal may seek information from authors, reviewers, editors, institutions, or other relevant parties before reaching a decision.
Complaints will be handled as objectively and confidentially as reasonably possible. The journal will not tolerate retaliation against individuals who raise genuine concerns in good faith.
Where a complaint identifies a potential publication-ethics or research-integrity issue, IJTM may initiate a separate investigation and take appropriate action, which may include correction, expression of concern, or retraction where warranted.
The outcome of a complaint will be communicated to the complainant when appropriate, subject to confidentiality, privacy, and applicable legal considerations.
Commitment to Improvement
IJTM recognizes that errors or shortcomings may occasionally occur despite reasonable editorial and production procedures. The journal welcomes constructive feedback and reports of errors so that appropriate corrections can be made and the quality and integrity of the publication process can be continuously improved.
All complaints are treated seriously and will be considered without discrimination based on the identity, affiliation, nationality, or status of the complainant.
