The International Journal of Tropical Medicine (IJTM) is an international, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the advancement and dissemination of research in tropical medicine and related areas of global health.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, editorials, letters to the editor, commentaries, perspectives, and other scholarly contributions relevant to tropical medicine.

The journal welcomes research addressing infectious and tropical diseases, epidemiology, public health, clinical and laboratory sciences, parasitology, microbiology, tropical medicine, disease prevention and control, vaccines and diagnostics, vector-borne diseases, neglected tropical diseases, and other health issues relevant to tropical and developing regions.
